ceo ordinary and effective

ceo=chief executive officer

i have seen / worked under effective and ordinary ceo s

units function and behave remarkably different under them, with the same staff, and things

under one, the unit rises in performance, grows expands, multiplies, endures vicissitudes, achieves success beyond imagination

the staff feel fulfilled breathing a rejuvenating success

under the other it slogs, slows, loses, becomes sick and dies

the staff feel disgust, depressed, dejected, grossly let down .

a ceo can grow to be an effective, or remain just ordinary, choice does exist

not to prolong, this's just a prolog, 

then what is the point of this blog?

the point is choice, how one chooses and what one becomes, what one gives to the universe, what kind of leadership one gives to the universe, to his universe as its ceo

yes , every one is ceo of the universe, his universe

you are the ceo of the universe, yours

i am the ceo of the universe, mine

are there two?

yes

are they different?

yes,

also there are as many universes as are beings, each of their own,

each being run by them, effectively or ordinarily

pity is most of us are ordinary more by choice, than by circumstances

we can be effective, but we are ignorant of potential, settle for the least.

we do not know that we are ceo, we just be thinking only to be a speck of dust, and become dust as a result ,pitiably losing the game, destroying ourselves at every opportunity, moment by moment.

where as every moment is fresh , rich with opportunity, to be availed by the best discretion, we just ignore.

ignore, waste, lose moments, not just acting, or by wrong choices and wrong acting.

we ignore moments, hours, days, months, 

years, a life.

we ignored several lives in the past

we could have been much better, at least now there is a chance.

universe is waiting in askance to be governed by the best

it definitely deserves a better governance let us wake up and do justice to our respective chairs

let us be the ideal ceo to our universe, as great as god and take hold of the reigns of life in our hands

   my own earliest story, in misery, poverty. 

but i never prayed any god nor expected any help, 

nor complained, nor felt sad. 

never fought, never challenged 

never criticized, never jealous, not in self pity, 

i slept hungry very often, 

bare with a few rags, 

with a broken slate and torn note book 

and in severe cold. 

i was neither happy nor unhappy, 

never puzzled, never in confusion, 

.though there was no help, i felt no helpless. 

i just did day's work, 

learnt whatever i could, 

i to day before the desk top, 

i am the same poor boy, 

but with fewest wants, 

earning a modest monthly, 

yet saving and sparing a little to the needy 

whoever i come across, not a big thing. 

so i have not much to say further

   surrender and challenge ..ECIL experience

we , new incumbents joined an upcoming psu, ECIL with all the freshness, and innocence in pursuit of a job to earn some living, it was in a remote jungle like area 

we all worked with fullest devotion, enthusiasm, with full obedience, 

in total surrender to the objectives of the organization , 

without a care for benefits, gains

there was no trade union, tu no officers association , oa 

organization grew , earned profits, esteem, ceo was pleased unasked he launched on welfare measures ---residential quarters , school, hospital, park, shopping center, training school, transport, roads , bank, loan for bikes and cars, and also informally set up a committee to build a cooperative housing society giving all support to acquire land and develop to own houses ,within no time we became prosperous unimaginably this went on for a few years 

times changed, greed set in, indiscipline increased , tu, oa were formed,

 there were disputes endless, resulting in losses , squeezing the resources, excess staff was sent out on voluntary retirements , business was lost, disgust , disappointment, frustration ruled roost,

so 

in surrender, there is empowerment, 

in challenge , there came decay , degradation"

he shows

he lives,

tells how to liv

he has no doubts,

clears all doubts

He walks, 

yet is above the earth, untouched by earthly

he talks, 

yet his message is silence

he works, 

yet he leaves no marks,

he does sleep, 

yet he is awake witnessing his sleep

every thing inert

every being animate

hillock to high hill, tiny stream to flooding river

every jeeva ameoba to manava to great baba are all gurus

yet sathguru is unique

he is monarch, no fake

sathguru is a mirror to teach how you are 

and how you can be

Teacher is not to teach

student is to learn each

intelligent learns from the worst

dull gains not from the best

Best teaching is silence

best teacher is silent

     happenings are lessons, costly.

for proactive, how i wish good people, who are in majority, take little step forward in social interactions, encourage goodwill and good humor, 

--sense in advance what is cooking, and do some preventive

--like to control possible disease some anti vaccination done, 

---and nip in the bud the negative trends.

i have seen such initiative from a senior executive in a psu, ie shri Rao C Kasarbada, ceo, ECIL,who used to do very casual conversation with the different section employees and union leaders and 

--without their knowing, used to influence the work community with nice mingling, good jokes and helping in their personal problems, and see that by all means the interests of the company are not put to risk 

--and he did prevent imminent strike, not by some counseling / moral teaching, but involving into them as a family, and appearing to sail with them.

but he was  sincere to the core, not seeking anything to himself, not fame, popularity, promotion

--his sincerity was touching., he virtually was a god for us to whom one can turn to receive help and solace, without his level /status inhibiting anyone.

on a larger scale, purely from humanitarian angle, such social initiative  may prevent negative things .

i repeat the intention must be one of just help, with 100% sincerity.

Freely venting suppressed emotions, thru this social informal communication among the community probably will cool the people to natural good behavior.

      My experience is happily unique..

i went, attended the shortest course, on TM 

and within shortest time i got that vital insights just from within 

into all questions on life, god, goal, 

how, where, what , what for, when, how, why 

which no outside source can give in life time, 

i continue to get my answers from myself 

every day every moment as per the need of situations , 

so i am highly thankful , basically to my friend and to that teaching of that center, of that great soul maharishi Mahesh yogi
